ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Saurabh Raj, and I’m happy to have you here on my blog. I’m from Hazaribag, Jharkhand, and I’m currently a first-year student at VIT Chennai, where I’m pursuing Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science.

I’ve always believed in giving my best when it comes to learning. Over the past year, I’ve been building my skills in Python and have also worked with HTML, CSS, and the basics of data analysis. I enjoy applying what I learn in small projects which help me understand concepts better and see how they work in practice. To strengthen my foundation, I also completed an IBM-certified course in Data Science (https://courses.cognitiveclass.ai/certificates/0a3e1ad0819b4a29a7f024d000d70e96) , which gave me hands-on experience with Python and analytics.

My fascination with data started early. I’ve always been curious about how numbers, patterns, and information can be turned into solutions for real problems. That curiosity has grown into a bigger goal: I want to build expertise in AI and Machine Learning and use these tools to make a difference in areas like education, healthcare, and social development.

Alongside my academics, I’ve been working on small projects in Python and data analysis, which have helped me improve my problem-solving skills. Until Class 10, I studied at Delhi Public School, Hazaribag, in my hometown. Those years gave me my basic foundation, both in academics and discipline. For Classes 11 and 12, I moved to Hyderabad—a completely new place, new food, and a different environment. At first, it was a little tough to adjust. I even faced some health issues, which made things more challenging. But after a few months, I settled in, made friends, and began to focus fully on studies again.
