MY JOURNEY SO FAR...

Hi, my name is Saurabh Raj, and I’m happy to have you here on my blog. I’m from Hazaribag, Jharkhand, and I’m currently a first-year student at VIT Chennai, where I’m pursuing Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science.

Until Class 10, I studied at Delhi Public School, Hazaribag, in my hometown. Those years gave me my basic foundation, both in academics and discipline. For Classes 11 and 12, I moved to Hyderabad—a completely new place, new food, and a different environment. At first, it was a little tough to adjust. I even faced some health issues, which made things more challenging. But after a few months, I settled in, made friends, and began to focus fully on studies again.

When it came to entrance exam preparation, my journey was quite decent. I wasn’t perfect, but I stayed consistent and gave my best.Sometimes it used to get frustrating, and there were moments when I felt like giving up. But my parents kept motivating me.

For the end of my first semester at VIT, my goal is clear: I want to maintain at least a 9 CGPA and complete two to three good certification courses to strengthen my profile.I look forward to building my skills step by step, working on meaningful projects, and preparing myself for a strong future in Data Science. This journey has just begun, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.Apart from academics, I also want to improve my communication skills and participate in at least one club activity to balance my college life.

This is just the beginning of my journey, and I’m determined to work hard, stay consistent, and make the most of every opportunity at VIT.
